Nocomoto is a small business with big ideas, working with a network of designers, engineers, marketeers and makers. Innovate UK also support us with grants and business advice. They recognise the social, economic and health benefits of our vision for 21st Century Cycling.
We are based in the UK Midlands, once home to a thriving bicycle industry and still a place with huge engineering know how and can-do attitude. Our goal is to make and sell our unique vehicles to households and businesses in the UK and Europe.
All this started with a dream (literally!) of a better way of travelling around a city. Most people in towns and cities make short journeys, by car, bus or bike. Each transport choice presents dilemmas, whether for individuals, for communities, or for our global climate.
We have listened carefully to people’s real needs for urban transport and now we’re getting ready to launch our unique vehicles in the UK and EU. Our Vision
In any town or city, there are more “nearly-cyclists” than regular cyclists. What’s a nearly-cyclist? Someone who understands that cycling is good for their personal health, the well-being of their community and a liveable planet. And yet, they rarely use a bike for everyday journeys.
The plain fact is, nearly-cyclists are put off by the many downsides of conventional bicycles.
Our vision is simple - give as many nearly-cyclists as possible the choice of a safe, comfortable, practical, affordable alternative for everyday urban journeys.
It’s time to stop tinkering with a bicycle design which has hardly changed for 100 years and listen to what people really want - comfort, safety, practicality.
